Piped pocket

The piped pocket refers to the pocket that is reinforced on both edges with a so-called piping (selvage). In other words, a double-sided welt pocket.

A distinction is made between:
Pocket with piping on one side = welt pocket.
Pocket with piping on both sides = piped pocket
