Tapered is a special jeans cut that combines the characteristics of baggy pants and carrot pants. In the area of the hips it is cut accordingly wider and tapers towards the ankles. Furthermore, it does not sit as high at the waist as the carrot cut. The style was inspired by the Italian youth movement "Paninaro'' from the late 80s, which were completely apolitical, very consumerist to hedonistic and interested in music, fashion and any trends from the USA.
