Interlock is a type of knitting used in the production of jersey fabric. Interlock jersey is knitted on two rows of needles and crossed in a right-to-right weave. It is mostly used in the production of T-shirts, sportswear, underwear and bedding, as it is very durable and keeps its shape. However, that is not all. Interlock is also particularly stretchy, and the formation of holes and loose stitches is also rather the rarity.
For care, it is recommended to wash at 40 degrees. However, some knitted fabrics made of interlock are also washable at 60 degrees with mild detergent.
