Brütting Diamond Brand
Made in traditional craftsmanship since 1946, every Brütting 'Diamond Brand' shoe comes from our shoe manufactory in Upper Franconia. Each shoe has its own running history, from the development of the model and last, the upper leather, to the quilting seam. You can see that and feel that! To preserve Eugen Brütting's handcrafted shoemaking art in Germany and to unite tradition with modernity in timeless shoes; that is our claim today.
Eugen Brüning, born in 1918, launched his career as a shoe modeler when he was 14 years old. Since 1946 in his own manufacturing. Before fe founded the EB-Sport-International company he was mainly focused on ladies’ shoes. But from 1965 Brütting startet to get more and more famous for special sport-shoes
Along with athletics coach Arthur L. Lydiard he developed his characteristic Lydiard last in 1970. In 1972 Brüning launched a new line for tennis trainers. From 1984 onwards, Eugen Brütting worked as a modeler and business consultant for the company until his death in 1991 in Nürnberg, place of his birth
