The Dockflex by Astorflex in the exclusive The Heritage Post Edition is a relaxed classic boat shoe designed for warm days and everyday wear. Each pair is handmade in Castel D’Ario, Italy, combining traditional craftsmanship with outstanding comfort. The soft, vegetable-tanned suede upper adapts naturally to the foot and gives the shoe its distinctive, laid-back character.
In the THP Edition, the Dockflex features subtle branding embossed into the leather as well as on the removable insole. The pair is delivered with two additional sets of laces, allowing for individual styling options.
A leather-lined memory foam footbed provides excellent cushioning and long-lasting comfort – whether on the boat, at the dock, or in the city. The robust Goodyear-welted construction and non-slip rubber outsole ensure durability and secure footing on various surfaces.

Astorflex was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by the ancestors of Fabio Travenzoli. Today, he personally oversees the production and the responsible, transparent approach to the development and production of shoes according to the "Ideal" method (Outer Nath along the edge of the sole) The family business still produces the typical shoes with rubber soles in Tuscany. "For the upper shoe we use Italian leather, especially leather from master tanneries in Tuscany."

The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calfskin, obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa, without using any dyes or colour additives.
This process is more beneficial to health, making the leather hypoallergenic and ensuring better sweat absorption for dry, odour-free feet. "Most of our soles are made of natural rubber, which is the coagulated latex of the rubber tree (Hevea brasilianis)."
The different parts of the shoe are joined together with water-based adhesives.
