Elegant checked jacket from 1973 made from a high-quality Italian fabric blend of 87% wool (virgin wool), 8% silk and 5% linen. The fabric comes from Vitale Barberis Canonico – one of Italy's oldest and most renowned cloth weavers. The subtle houndstooth pattern in blue and brown and the classic lining with a fine dot pattern give the jacket its characteristic look. Lovely details such as the leather elbow patches and embossed metal buttons round off the design and make it the perfect companion for the cooler months.

The 1973 line originates from Kastell, which has been tailoring menswear since 1946. 1973 is the young line, which goes back to the year of birth of the sons of the company owners. From 1973 on we offer ready-made clothing which is produced in small series according to our wishes individually for "die form". Since spring 2012 we offer also the individual single manufacture (custom-made clothing) with 1973.
