Denim Know-How Part 2

Denim Know-How Part 2!

What exactly is RAW denim?

A few facts:

Raw denim is simply an incredibly stiff fabric. This is what every pair of jeans looks like when they leave the production line.

In technical terms: jeans made from a classic twill weave, a diagonal structure.

Warp threads in indigo, weft threads in natural white. Why? This method became established because the dye was so expensive.

Good to know: if you wash a pair of these once, you’ll end up with the softest denim!

Also important: the fabric will continue to bleed dye for a while.

Light-coloured leather sofas or armchairs? Best to avoid them! They don’t really go well in the washing machine.
