Blaumann jeans have not undergone any industrial washing. This means that the trousers are still in their original condition, i.e. stiff and deep blue. 

The best look of a Blaumann jeans trousers is achieved by wearing the trousers unwashed for the first 6-8 months (the longer, the better). 

Before storage, the trousers should be unwrapped so that they do not break at the edge of the flap. If the trousers are to be washed, note to treat them on the left at 30 degrees gentle cycle. Then let them air dry lying down (no spin cycle, no dryer!). 

After this first household wash all individual traces of wear come to the fore, which are artificially produced with conventional jeans by industrial washing (used-look). 

If this recommendation is followed, the trousers will shrink by approx. 3% in length. This is why the trousers are delivered with the hem turned down.
