"Workaday Briefcase"
The workaday briefcase from Kustom Kraft is made from the finest cowhide leather and is made exclusively by hand. From the cutting of the vegetable tanned leather to the sewing with the saddle seam. This guarantees a quality that is second to none. The centrally located drawer for a 14" Notebook is protected by four layers of hand-sewn leather. Two further main compartments offer enough space for the daily work routine. A further drawer provides for order inside. The bag can be carried as a handbag by the handle with sewn-in round leather straps or as a shoulder bag with the adjustable leather strap. The hand-sewn padding provides a comfortable support surface on the shoulder. Due to the processed pull-up leather the bag gets its own touch, because through the use quickly visible traces of use or patina are formed. Either as a classic carrier bag or with a shoulder strap, it can also be thrown over the shoulder.

Kustom Kraft bags are made to order in Kiel. If a bag is not in stock, we can have it made for you. The average production time is currently 6-8 weeks. On request we can personalize the bag with your initials (branding in leather, see photos). If you want a personalized bag with initials (max. three letters), just write them in the comment field when ordering.

Kustom Kraft was born out of a love of making things with your hands. Initially, motorbike seats were made to customer specifications. High-quality, vegetable-tanned cowhide is traditionally sewn by hand. Belts, wallets and other small accessories were added.
Then came the idea of going one step further. To make a bag that you can carry with you for a lifetime and pass on to the next generation. The first handmade leather bag was created in 2017 and the foundation stone was laid. In the search for other high-quality materials besides leather, we decided to use solid cotton fabric in the form of waxed canvas to make the bags.
As we didn't want to use just any materials, we had to find suitable suppliers. The traditional Kobel tannery in Kellinghusen is one of the last tanneries that uses pit tanning to preserve the leather. The leather hides are tanned in a water pit with plant extracts for several weeks. The canvas is produced to an equally high standard in England, where it originates, by the British Millerain and Halley Stevensons weaving mills. The materials we use are therefore completely free of chemicals and plastic.
We are a small manufactory and would like to consciously refrain from stock items in the future. Each product is only made to order, which can take a little time depending on the order situation.
This increases the quality of the workmanship. Quality over quantity is our top priority. This also allows us to respond to individual customer requests.
