"Briefcase"
Classic handmade briefcase by Kustom Kraft made of canvas and pull-up leather. The bag impresses with its no-frills design and becomes the perfect everyday companion. The YKK zip enclosed by pull-up leather is protected from rain by an overlying double-walled canvas lid. The main compartment holds everything you need on your way to work or in everyday life. There is a large drawer on the outside and three drawers on the inside. The 14" notebook fits easily into the large drawer on the inside. The pull-up leather gives the bag its own touch, as visible traces of use or patina quickly form through use. Either as a classic tote bag or by means of a shoulder strap, it can also be slung over the shoulder.

Kustom Kraft bags are made to order in Kiel, Germany. If a bag is not in stock at the moment, we can have it made for you. The average production time is currently 40-60 working days. If you wish, we can personalise the bag with your initials (branding into the leather, see photos). Kustom Kraft was born out of a love of making things with your hands. Initially, motorbike seats were made to customer specifications. High-quality, vegetable-tanned cowhide is traditionally sewn by hand. Belts, wallets and other small accessories were added.
Then came the idea of going one step further. To make a bag that you can carry with you for a lifetime and pass on to the next generation. The first handmade leather bag was created in 2017 and the foundation stone was laid. In the search for other high-quality materials besides leather, we decided to use solid cotton fabric in the form of waxed canvas to make the bags.
As we didn't want to use just any materials, we had to find suitable suppliers. The traditional Kobel tannery in Kellinghusen is one of the last tanneries that uses pit tanning to preserve the leather. The leather hides are tanned in a water pit with plant extracts for several weeks. The canvas is produced to an equally high standard in England, where it originates, by the British Millerain and Halley Stevensons weaving mills. The materials we use are therefore completely free of chemicals and plastic.
We are a small manufactory and would like to consciously refrain from stock items in the future. Each product is only made to order, which can take a little time depending on the order situation.
This increases the quality of the workmanship. Quality over quantity is our top priority. This also allows us to respond to individual customer requests.
