Lovers of stylish cycling culture: this September, you’ll once again be in good company at the Tweed Run – organised by Die Form Oldenburg. Together, we’ll cycle through our favourite city and enjoy a very British Sunday on two wheels.

This year, the Tweed Run takes us to a special spot in Oldenburg harbour: the Krantine. Back in 2018, the Theatre Harbour was the start and finish of our tour, with a unique atmosphere around the big top and in partnership with the Oldenburg State Theatre. Now we’re returning to this venue, where the Krantine is currently emerging as a new hotspot for Oldenburg. The traditional charm of this event location, reimagined in a new, urban guise, is a perfect match for our stylish cycling friends.

We’ll meet at 12 noon at the Krantine: Rundtörn 30. After collecting our race numbers and route maps, we’ll set off together at 1 pm. At around 3 pm, we’ll take a break with a soft drink at the VSF-Fahrradmanufaktur in Tweelbäke, before setting off on the second stage. At 5 pm, we’ll return to the Krantine for a proper teatime. At 6.30 pm, we’ll say ‘Cheerio’ and ‘see you next year’, when it’ll be time once again to ask: ‘Do you want to ride your bicycle, bicycle, bicycle?’ ;-)

The entry fee is €25 again this year and includes your race number, roadmap and all food and drink.
